New Zealand West Coast IPA | 5.8%
LONG HOP HOME is a 5.8% New Zealand West Coast IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Little Martha Brewing in Bristol.
A trio of New Zealand hops, Nectaron, Pacifica and Waimea, brings layers of ripe tropical and stone fruit, vibrant orange and lemon citrus, and fresh pine. A subtle floral lift from Pacifica sits alongside the clean, assertive bitterness you’d expect from a West Coast IPA.
Crisp, punchy and refreshingly dry, it balances juicy peach and mango with bright citrus, a resinous edge and a clean finish that keeps you coming back for the next sip.
A proper hop-forward IPA, with a little Kiwi spirit and a long way home.
The Story
Some journeys are worth making.
LONG HOP HOME brings together Goodh in Cornwall and Little Martha Brewing in Bristol, two breweries connected by a shared love of great beer, collaboration and some seriously good New Zealand hops.
Little Martha takes its name from the first rabbit to travel into space, so for this collaboration we brought their adventurous bunny a little closer to Earth and sent her west.
Leaving Bristol and the Clifton Suspension Bridge behind, map in hand and backpack packed with hops, she follows the long road towards Cornwall swapping city streets for winding paths, rugged cliffs and the Cornish coast.
It's a story of two breweries, two places and one beer brewed somewhere along the journey between them.
