Our Journey

From our small roots in Ponsanooth, we’ve grown a lot since 2018. Originally a wild brewery experimenting with foraged ingredients, we evolved with the times, embracing hop-forward beers that were filling glasses across the UK. With this change came a new name Goodh Brewing Co. (pronounced Goooth, Cornish for “wild”).

Now based in our purpose-built brewery at Indian Queens, we’ve expanded our range with a state-of-the-art production line and opened our first taproom, The Printworks in Truro, back in 2020.

In 2023, we took an exciting new step by acquiring the legendary Skinner’s Brewery a cornerstone of Cornish brewing since 1997. Known for iconic cask ales like Betty Stogs, Skinner’s has been part of Cornwall’s pub culture for decades, and we’re proud to carry its tradition forward while keeping the beers people love flowing.

With this move, we relocated our taproom to the historic Skinner’s site in Truro, reopening in July 2023 as The Tapyard Riverside. Today it’s the beating heart of our community a space where Goodh and Skinner’s come together under one roof, celebrating both modern craft and timeless cask.

At Goodh, we brew affordable, flavourful beers without compromise. From hazy pale ales and NEIPAs to sours, stouts, and the odd DIPA, our beers are made to be shared — creating real moments and connections.

Cornwall inspires everything we do, from the rugged coastline to its heritage and landscapes. That spirit runs through our beers, our team, and even our labels. We believe not every beer is for every person, but there’s a beer for everyone.
